12:18 am - Weekend Update
So on Saturday, my mom came up to visit. She attended a wedding that night in Santa Rosa. I was invited too but didn't feel up to going; I had only met the groom and his mother once a few years ago. I'm actually glad I didn't attend; it was 103 degrees out. The ceremonly was in the sun and so was a good portion of the reception. I hear that it was pretty though, despite the fushia colored bridesmaid's dresses. I also know that I would have been uncomfortable being around a bunch of people I don't know.
Sunday was fun and relaxed. Didn't go to game that night either. My mom and I hung out and chatted a good part of the day away. We then decided to see a movie! We met L5Rfanboy at Pacific Theaters and saw "Batman Begins". It was sooooo good! The gadgets were coool! The Tibetan scenes were beautiful. The temple was fascinating with all of its scenes! The first bat mobile was awsome! The backstory and build up were great! My only gripe is that I wish we saw more of the scarecrow in action, but at the same time, I know that it probably would have detracted from the movie's plot and focus (and there simply was not enough time to include that). I am really looking forward to seeing how this production team will continue to portray Batman/Bruce Wayne, Gothom City, and the other evil baddies.
